Today's Big Deals

Blizzard's new hero shooter just hit the market and wouldn't you know it? It's already discounted on Amazon, and you don't need to be a Prime member to get in on it. I was up late into the night digging into this game - if you like team based shooter action, this is not one to be missed. Console and PC copies are $49 on Amazon (if you're buying it on PC the best deal might still be to buy the standard version from Blizzard for $40, but if you're an Amazon Prime member, you can get the Origins Edition on PC for just $8 more and score some extra in-game content.

The Best Deals on Overwatch:

  • Overwatch: Origins Edition$60 $49 (Amazon)
  • Overwatch (PC) $40 (Battle.net)

Screenplay pdfs. Amazon has a $20 discount on disc and digital copies of Battleborn, aka the other hero shooter out right now, aka the MOBA-inspired shooter from Gearbox, the studio behind Borderlands. Whereas Overwatch is all about pitting teams of six players against each other, Battleborn has modes where you'll face off against the AI, fighting back waves of MOBA-style creeps.

And you should note that while the 500GB Gears bundle is MSRP, the 1TB 3 game bundle is actually at a $30 discount.

Here are four TVs from Dell that all come with store credit from Dell, (store credit that you can use to buy games, a console, a laptop, anything that Dell sells), and each one is going for less than Amazon charges, like this 50-inch 4K Vizio TV with $250 gift card. Amazon charges $613 for this TV, but Dell will let you have it for $550, and you get $200 in store credit. That's like half a PS4 or Xbox One!

More Dell TV deals:

  • Vizio D60-D3 D-Series 60' LED Smart TV with $250 eGift Card $700 - Dell is selling this 60-inch Vizio HDTV for $100 less than Amazon charges, and it's tossing in $250 in store credit. Add it your cart to see the credit!

Use code FGNFFKE3 to get this 5-port Aukey USB charging hub for $20. This hub has four 2.4-amp USB ports, which means it can any USB devices, including large ones like tablets, at the fastest possible rate, and it has a single Quick Charge 2.0 port, which means it can charge newer Android devices like the Galaxy S6 and the HTC One M9 ultra quick. It'll also make a fine charger for your PS4 controllers if you have a couple of microUSB cables to use with it.

When it comes to wirelessly filling your house with music nothing beats Sonos speakers. Deals on Sonos are pretty rare, but Amazon is currently tossing in $20 to $140 in credit when you grab one of these wireless speakers. I have three Sonos Play: 1 speakers scattered across my apartment and I love them. I spent a long time watching prices and waiting for discounts to build up my set. If you've been craving a house full of wireless music, get in on this deal before it's gone.

Nothing sells out faster than a good deal on sunglasses, and I don't expect this Ray-Ban aviator deal to be any different. These glasses normally go for $105, but today only (or until they sell out) you can snag a pair for just $60.

Use code DELLDT559 to get this beefy Dell desktop at a $230 discount. It needs a new GPU before you can call it a gaming PC, but this 90% of what you need at a great price.

Not only can this bluetooth speaker play music wirelessly, it doesn't even need wires to float magically above its base. Alright, it's not magic, it's magnets (how do they work?), and I'm not going to act like levitation is going to improve the sound quality, but as far as eye catching gimmicks/conversation starters go, this is a pretty good one. This speaker is normally $143, but you can snag it at a $38 discount, today only.

Digital codes for both Xbox One and PS4 are only $25, which is less than physical copies at the moment. Witcher 3 was our 2015 game of the year, a ton of people in the IGN offices are still playing it, and it's been getting a steady stream of good DLC since release, so I'd say it's worth picking up.

Miyazaki Movie Blu-ray Sale

If you've never seen (or don't own) any movies by Hayao Miyazaki, one of the greatest living animation directors, your Blu-ray collection is severely lacking. His movies are distributed by Disney here is in US, so they're never cheap, but all the ones below are matching the lowest prices I've seen:

  • Howl's Moving Castle $15
  • My Neighbor Totoro $15
  • Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind $15
  • Kiki's Delivery Service $15
  • Ponyo $15
  • Castle in the Sky $15

The latest PSN deal is Sony's Extended Play Sale, which is mostly hefty discount on deluxe editions of some slightly older games. You really need PS Plus to get the most out of this deal, so snag this discounted year one year subscription if yours has lapsed.

PS Plus 1 Year Subscription$40 $50

  • The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt + Expansion Pass $48.74 (heads up, you can get the base game for $25 from Amazon)
  • Just Cause 3 XL Edition $42.24
  • Battlefield Hardline Deluxe Edition $14
  • Dying Light: The Following - Enhanced Edition $36
  • Evolve Ultimate Edition $24
  • Star Wars Battlefront Deluxe Edition $25
  • Life is Strange Complete Season $10
  • Downwell $5
  • Batman: Arkham City Ultimate Edition $8
  • Uncharted 2: Among Thieves GOTY Edition $10
  • Darksiders II Ultimate Edition $10
  • Dead Space 3 Ultimate Edition $9
  • Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition $6

Here's the thing: the heyday of the Vita may have, arguably, come and gone, but that means that Sony's portable PlayStation has years worth of indie and AAA gaming gems that you can pick up cheaply (I grab a game or two every time there's a PSN flash sale), and you can get the system at a great price. Right now you can get the 2nd generation system with improved battery life for just $140. That's $10 less than the previous low price, and a full $20 less than its current price on Amazon.

Update: Red Dead is $7.49 on the Xbox Marketplace if you have Gold. Don't have Gold? Fix that right now.

I've said before that Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption is the only game that's made me want to go camping. It's just so gorgeous! And since a backwards compatible Xbox One version of Red Dead already leaked a few months ago, I figure it might be wise to grab it while it's cheap. There is a game of the year version that includes Undead Nightmare, but at $28, I think you should just get the zombie expansion separately.

Update: add the game to your cart and proceed to checkout to see the discount.

Turns out that rumored Batman remaster is the real deal. Batman: Return to Arkham gives you Arkham Asylum and Arkham City for $50, and if you have Amazon Prime or Gamer's Club Unlocked, you can snag it for just $40. That's two remastered Arkham games at $20 a pop! Bruce Wayne would be proud.

  • Batman: Return to Arkham $40 w/ Amazon Prime
  • Batman: Return to Arkham $40 w/ GCU

Who doesn't like Uno, let alone for $3?

I've seen 10,000mAh batteries go for less, but they're not usually this compact. This Anker is perfectly pocket or purse-sized, and packs enough juice to charge a Galaxy S6 or an iPhone 6 three times.

A Ton Of Great Xbox One Digital Game Deals

If you like digital games (I do!) and own an Xbox One, you're in luck: Here's a handful of great Xbox One games ready to download at some very solid discounts, like Tomb Raider for $7.50. And don't sleep on Sleeping Dogs! That game is great, we gave it an 8.5.

  • Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition $7.50
  • Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition $7.50
  • Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris $5
  • Halo: The Master Chief Collection $20
  • Batman: Arkham Knight $30 ($23 on disc)
  • The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt $25
  • Halo 5 Guardians $30
  • Quantum Break $40 (also $40 on disc)

This is neither a joke nor a riddle, just the best price I've seen for the latest Arkham game. And Xbox One copies are down to $24 as well.

  • DualShock 4 Wireless Controller - Gray Blue $49
  • DualShock 4 Wireless Controller - Wave Blue $49
  • DualShock 4 Wireless Controller - Glacier White $49
