Daniel Craig may play the character of James Bond again in James Bond 25. There are speculations that the producer of Craig's latest theater project Othello could convince him to sign up for another 007 movie. Rami Malek has responded to rumours he will play a villain in Bond 25.

The actor took home the Best Actor in a Motion Picture Drama gong at the Golden Globes last night (January 6) for his portrayal of Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody, but earlier in the week he was asked about an altogether different role.

Sankat mochan hanuman mount madonna. At the 30th annual Palm Springs International Film Awards, Rami was asked to respond to the previous rumours that he's being lined up to star opposite Daniel Craig in his (possibly final) Bond outing — and he isn't denying it.

'We’ll have to see about that,' he told Entertainment Tonight. 'It would be nice to play a villain, that would be an actor's dream, another dream role for me.

'I’ve got to play so many great ones so far and who knows. I’m keeping tight-lipped.'

And he even added that he would 'absolutely' say yes to being a Bond villain, so if there are any Bond casting directors reading this, well.. you know what to do.

Of course, Rami will be rather busy working on the fourth and final season of Mr Robot over the next few months, but hopefully he won't be too busy for a possible Bond outing.

But, what else do we need to know about the new Bond?

Well, Daniel Craig will of course be returning as Bond for the fifth time, despite previous rumours he would be bowing out after his most recent outing inSpectre.

The film will also be directed by True Detective's Cary Joji Fukunaga, who took up the job after Danny Boyle left the project over creative differences.

Bond 25 will be released worldwide on February 14, 2020.

There are worse places to announce that James Bond will return.. On April 25, 2019, Goldeneye – the Jamaican home of 007 creator Ian Fleming – played host to the launch of the as-yet untitled Bond 25.

Beneath the Caribbean sun, long-time Bond producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G Wilson were joined by director Cary Fukunaga and various members of the Bond 25 cast, including leading man Daniel Craig, ahead of his fifth and (apparently) final appearance in the tuxedo.

So it's now been confirmed that Bohemian Rhapsody’s Rami Malek is on board (almost definitely as a villain), and that he'll be joined by Captain Marvel’s Lashana Lynch and Blade Runner 2049’s Ana de Armas – as well as the usual gang of supporting players like Naomie Harris, Ralph Fiennes and Ben Whishaw.

Of course, actual Bond 25 plot details are wrapped up more securely than a vault in a cellar at MI6 headquarters, but information is starting to leak out – and surely more will emerge as production gets underway in Jamaica, London and Italy. (Fukunaga has confirmed that some shooting has already taken place in Norway “due to weather”.)

So put away your Walther PPK, pour yourself a vodka martini and work your way through all this intel on 007's latest outing, including the Bond 25 release date, the trailer, the title (somehow we don't think it'll be Shatterhand..) and – of course – speculation on who might be singing the opening theme tune.

BOND 25 RELEASE DATE

Originally, the Bond 25 release date was scheduled for October 25, 2019 in the UK, and a little later on November 8, 2019 in the States… but Danny Boyle's unexpected departure as director naturally threw several spanners in the works. Luckily, Eon Productions was quick to find a replacement in Cary Fukunaga (see below),

That means a pushed back Bond 25 release date to April 8, 2020, so it looks like the movie will at least be out in theatres worldwide on the same day, instead of being delayed by several weeks amongst different regions, as was the plan before. Hopefully the wait will be worth it – until then, you'll just have to rewatch the best James Bond movies. A couple of times.

BOND 25 DIRECTOR

Cary Fukunaga joined as Bond 25 director in September 20, announced on the official James Bond Twitter account, less than a month after it was revealed that Danny Boyle had exited the project due to “creative differences”. The Guardian reports that Boyle, who previously helmed the likes of Trainspotting and Slumdog Millionaire, that he left because the producers weren't happy with the script written by regular collaborator John Hodge. “I work in partnership with writers and I am not prepared to break it up..” he said. “We were working very, very well, but they didn’t want to go down that route with us. So we decided to part company.”

Instead, Fukunaga is most known for his work as director of True Detective season 1, but has also given us films like Beasts of No Nation, Jane Eyre, and, more recently, the new Netflix Original series Maniac. In a statement on Twitter, producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson said of their new Bond 25 director: “We are delighted to be working with Cary. His versatility and innovation make him an excellent choice for our next James Bond adventure.'

This is exciting news, though somewhat surprising, given that Fukunaga has also been known to similarly leave projects like True Detective season 2 and the It movie amid creative conflicts with collaborators. You'd think that, after Danny Boyle's conscious uncoupling, the production team would naturally look for a Bond 25 director with less of a track record for jumping ship. Clearly, and admirably, they're committed to making this Bond film as special and memorable as the character himself.

Following Hodge’s departure, Fukunaga will now be working from a script from Bond veterans Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, along with Scott Burns (The Bourne Ultimatum) and Fleabag/Killing Eve legend Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

BOND 25 CAST

Daniel Craig is back as Bond for the fifth time, following his starring roles in Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall, and Spectre. It’s now well over three years since his previous appearance, and there was speculation that we might be getting a new 007 to head up the Bond 25 cast – particularly after an astonishing interview with Time Out in 2015, where Craig proclaimed that “I’d rather break this glass and slash my wrists” than appear in another Bond flick.

However, Craig confirmed that his mind had U-turned on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert in August 2017. “Yes,” he replied when asked if he was returning. 'We've been discussing it, we've just been trying to figure things out… I always wanted to, I needed a break.'

However, Craig has openly stated that this will be his final 007 film. 'I just want to go out on a high note, and I can't wait,” he told Colbert.

As regards to his successor once Bond 25 is in the can, Henry Cavill, Idris Elba, and Damien Lewis have all been linked ahead of what will be Bond 26. So we’ve put together a comprehensive feature, wondering aloud who could be the new James Bond.

Beyond 007 himself, the Bond 25 cast news is that Bohemian Rhapsody Oscar-winner and Mr Robot star Rami Malek is definitely on board, confirming months of rumours. And it's almost definite that he's playing the villain – why else would he say at the Bond 25 launch that: “I promise you all I will be making sure Mr Bond does not have an easy ride of it in this, his 25th outing.” You can almost hear the maniacal laughter..

Other newcomers entering 007’s orbit in the Bond 25 cast include Ana de Armas (Blade Runner 2049), Lashana Lynch (Captain Marvel), David Dencik (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), Billy Magnussen (Velvet Buzzsaw) and French newcomer Dali Benssalah – though who they're actually playing is anyone's guess.

There'll also be more familiar faces returning, as this era of Bond continues to be among the most consistent in terms of supporting players. Regular 007 sidekicks Ralph Fiennes (M), Naomie Harris (Moneypenny), Ben Whishaw (Q), Rory Kinnear (Tanner) and Jeffrey Wright (Felix Leiter) are all back in the saddle for Bond 25.

And intriguingly, so is Léa Seydoux, whose Madeleine Swann was last seen with Bond at the end of SPECTRE. With producer Barbara Broccoli confirming that “Bond is not on active service when we start the film, he is actually enjoying himself in Jamaica. So he starts his journey [there]”, we wouldn't mind betting that the couple are enjoying some R&R together when the movie kicks off. Fingers crossed things don't go as badly as they did for Jason Bourne’s vacation at the start of The Bourne Supremacy.

So the biggest Bond 25 cast mystery concerns whether Christoph Waltz will reprise his role as the villainous Ernst Stavro Blofeld, left incarcerated, but still alive, at the end of Spectre. Quizzed about the return of Waltz and Ben Whishaw, Fukunaga told , Inquirer in November that, 'Those are two extraordinary actors, so if there is space for them in the story, I would absolutely want them there. But I don’t know yet what it’s going to be.' Although he gave the caveat that the script was yet to be finalized.

As non-committal as you'd expect, then, but we'd be very surprised if Waltz isn't part of the Bond 25 cast – as the kingpin who's apparently driven the whole of the arc started in Casino Royale, it would be bizarre Blofeld's part in 007’s misery had already played out.

BOND 25 TRAILER

Seeing as the movie has barely started shooting – and isn't due in cinemas for a year – we won’t be seeing a Bond 25 trailer, poster, or concept art anytime soon. That doesn’t stop anyone predicting its due date, though. Skyfall’s first trailer came in May 2012, five months before the film’s October release, while our first glimpse of Spectre in motion emerged in March 2015, with the film itself out seven months later. Assuming Bond 25 adheres to a similar pattern, we should see its first trailer from November 2019 onwards.

BOND 25 TITLE

Short answer: there is no Bond 25 title as yet. “I can't remember the last time we had a title when we announced the beginning of a film,” laughed producer Michael G Wilson at the movie’s launch. “It's kind of a tradition now.”

That doesn't mean, however, that we can't speculate.

British newspaper The Mirror reports that the working Bond 25 title is Shatterhand, and that the film is based on 2001 novel Never Dream of Dying, but there’s been no confirmation of this from the studio or anyone involved in the project so far. We do know that Fukunaga will be following the Casino Royale plot arc (as all the more recent Bonds have), and that Craig's final appearance as Bond will likely complete it. But does this really fit into Never Dream of Dying? Not really.

Never Dream of Dying was the seventh Bond book written by American author Raymond Benson, after Zero Minus Ten, Tomorrow Never Dies, The Facts of Death, The World is Not Enough, High Time to Kill, and Double Shot. However, the two films on that list you’ll recognise as movies – Tomorrow Never Dies and The World is Not Enough – were novelisations based on screenplays, as was Benson’s later work on Die Another Day. How to format a thumb drive windows 10. As yet none of his Bond originals have been turned into movies, so Never Dream of Dying forming the basis of Bond 25 would be a personal breakthrough for him. Particularly as he resigned from writing Bond books in 2003.

Meanwhile, a Breakdown Artist's employment listing on the website Mandy.com has revealed a working title of Eclipse. Kernel pst viewer review. The page was since taken down, adding further credibility to its authenticity, but a cached version is still available to look at here. Eclipse has no connections to any historical Bond lore, meaning this next chapter doesn't take its inspiration from any previous film or novel, but instead follows the likes of Skyfall and Quantum of Solace to create an entirely new story. Either that, or 007's taking a vacation to Stonehenge for the winter solstice.

BOND 25 THEME

Securing a Bond theme is one of the biggest achievements in the entertainment business, with the last two going to Sam Smith (Spectre) and Adele (Skyfall). If the UK press is to believed Beyonce is being lined up for the next one. A source close to the singer is purported to have proclaimed this “the only project she is remotely interested in right now.” She’s said to have met with the film’s bosses, “and Adele told her how co-writing and performing a Bond theme gave her an amazing career hike.” As if that pair aren’t already among the most successful female artists of all time…
